Two arrested for rape

Bhandara: Two youths — Naresh Maind (26) and Rajeshwar Divate (23) — both residents of Sarandi village, were arrested for raping two young girls on Wednesday. One of the accused Naresh had got married on April 2.
One of the girls had gone at attend a wedding reception in nearby Rajani village. According to police sources, the duo were keeping a close watch on her.During the reception the girl met one more friend. Later in the night the two girls went to a nearby field to attend nature’s call. During that time both Naresh and Rajeshwar raped and physically assaulted them.
Soon after some relatives of the girls came to the field searching for the them. Seeing them both Naresh and Rajeshwar fled from the spot.
The relatives reported the matter to Lakhandur police who swung into action and arrested the duo the same night.
